Shadowdock is an immersive light and sound production taking place in Thompson Dry Dock - The Birthplace of the Titanic. The show will narrate a story of Belfast People, what they have achieved and inspire ideas of change.
The idea has been developed by Henry Sykes and Three's Theatre Company and is part of the Belfast 2024 projects. With a team of light and sound designers taking on the challenge to create something spectacular.
Meet the team
Henry Sykes
Henry is a designer based in Manchester. He founded Studio Sykes in early 2023 and specialises in the delivery of large scale art installations, exhibition design, project management and creative art direction. He has experience working with some of the UK’s most famous cultural institutions on projects of varying scale and complexity. Henry's most recent projects include Our Place in Space, a 10km sculpture trail and Banana Block, a flexible events venue.
His own installations look to reimagine our landscapes & built heritage to create unique experiences that welcome, inspire, inform and delight

Anna Leckey
Anna is the founding Artistic Director of Three’s Theatre Company, a Belfast Based immersive theatre company that specialises in ‘choice theatre’ and creating unique experiences for audiences allowing them to see spaces in new ways. Anna has been the Artist in Residence at the MAC twice and has been developing her craft with innovative productions since Three’s began in 2017.

Katie Richardson
Katie is a musician, songwriter, composer, sound designer, music producer and facilitator who currently makes her own music under the name Hex Hue. In 2012 she was featured as one of the Irish Times 'Northern Lights' which profiled people changing the face of Northern Ireland in their particular fields. For several years she was a member of Choice nominated ‘Pleasure Beach’ with whom she toured the UK and Ireland. As a composer/songwriter/sound designer Katie has worked with many theatre and film companies across Ireland.

Alan Mooney
Alan is a collaborative lighting artist who works principally in live performance including theatre, dance and opera. His core artistic drive lies in crafting a visual language to help both tell and augment a story.

Conal Clapper
Conal is a technical artist and filmmaker based in Belfast. He specialises in the production of work with highly specific and unique technical requirements, including designing infrastructure for building-wide audio-visual installations, fabricating bespoke components for interactive experiences, and creating custom lighting networks. He has worked across film, TV and live events, and continues to expand and develop his workflow by working with leading industry professionals across various artforms.
